I am a single unwed parent. Can I receive the Large Family LifeSG Credits?

Updated by MSF

Single unwed parents are not eligible to receive the Large Family LifeSG Credits (LFLC). If they subsequently marry, their children born outside of marriage will be ineligible to receive LFLC but they will contribute to the family's child count, enabling siblings born within the marriage to receive LFLC.

For children born outside of marriage to be eligible for LFLC themselves, the single parent must marry and either have the spouse's name added to the child's birth certificate or have the child adopted by the spouse.
