I am an employer with an employee that has taken new Shared Parental Leave (SPL). How can I submit claim for the SPL taken?

Verify your employee’s sharing arrangement via the Government-Paid Leave (GPL) portal, at least 4 weeks after their child’s birth/Formal Intent to Adopt (FIA) date.
Please note that employees can change their sharing arrangement freely during the first 4 weeks after their child’s birth/FIA date. As such, do conduct your verification checks 4 weeks or more after the child’s birth/FIA date. Where employees make changes after the 4-week mark, you should conduct another verification check of the sharing arrangement after your employee has submitted it on LifeSG.
After the employee has consumed SPL, please submit a claim via the GPL portal. The process is similar to existing claims for Government-Paid Leave Schemes.
