As an employer, how can I check the SPL entitlement of my employee and submit a claim for the SPL taken?
You can verify your employee’s sharing arrangement on the Government-Paid Leave (GPL) portal after your employee has successfully registered the birth of their child or from Formal Intent to Adopt (FIA) date.
Employees can change their sharing arrangement freely within those first 4 weeks, so you could also consider to check your employee’s sharing arrangement only after this period. If they make changes after 4 weeks, you should verify the updated sharing arrangement after your employee has submitted it on LifeSG.
Once your employee has taken their SPL, you can submit a claim through the GPL portal. The process is the same as for other Government-Paid Leave Schemes.
