Working parents can enjoy Shared Parental Leave (SPL), to be shared between parents and taken within 12 months from the child's date of birth (inclusive of date of birth), while parents who do not qualify SPL due to their employment arrangements, can enjoy Shared Parental Leave Benefit (SPB).

• From 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026: 6 weeks of SPL

• From 1 April 2026 onwards: 10 weeks of SPL

Please contact us via the form link in your acknowledgement email after completing your child’s birth registration on LifeSG. For the purpose of determining schemes eligibility, a doctor-certified EDD is required. Please provide a copy of the doctor's certification, which should include the following details:

1. EDD

2. Mother’s name and identification number

3. Name of clinic

4. Doctor’s signature/Medical Registration (MCR) number

Do note that we will not accept any supporting documents which do not meet the requirement above.
