What is Government-Paid Shared Parental Leave (SPL)?

SPL supports eligible working fathers (including self-employed fathers) in sharing parental responsibility through sharing up to 4 weeks of their wife’s [Government-Paid Maternity Leave (GPML)] or [Adoption Leave for Mothers (AL)] benefits.
