How do I submit a 2013 - Shared Parental Leave Election (SPLE)?
For employees
Decide on the leave arrangement with your wife before she fully consumes her GPML/AL.
Parents whose child is born, or has an estimated delivery date, or formal intent to adopt (FIA) date on or after 1 Apr 2025, are entitled to the new SPL scheme and should not be making an election for this scheme.
Notify your employer on your leave arrangement early so that they can verify your eligibility and make alternative work arrangements.
Your wife must declare her intention to share her leave no earlier than 16 weeks before your child’s estimated delivery date. This can be done online via "Share My Leave" eService in the Government-Paid Leave (GPL) Portal using her Singpass.
Submit the declaration form to your employer with all necessary supporting documents. Your employer may use its own declaration form or system for you to declare your eligibility.
