What is Government-Paid Adoption Benefit (GPAB)?
Government-Paid Adoption Benefit (GPAB) supports eligible adoptive working mothers (including self-employed mothers) who do not qualify for the [Adoption Leave for Mothers (AL)] scheme due to their employment arrangements (e.g. on short-term employment contracts, or employment contracts had expired before the birth of their child).
