Why did MOM update the salary exemption bar for the Fair Considerations Framework job advertising requirement?
From 1 September 2023, the salary exemption bar for Fair Consideration Framework (FCF) job advertising requirement was raised to $22,500 and above. This is benchmarked to the top 10% of EP holders.
MOM will review the salary exemption thresholds against the benchmark regularly, taking into account prevailing economic conditions.
