The QOA is set up to mitigate financial impact for those who have been served QO, and completed their QO without any breaches.

Claims of $100 per day can be made by self-employed Singapore Citizens/Permanent Residents, or Singapore-registered companies whose employees under QO are Singaporean Citizens, Permanent Residents or Work Pass Holders.

As of 1st July 2021, approved caregivers of a Person-Under-Quarantine (PUQ) can apply for the QOA, subject to the same eligibility requirements. Applications can be submitted by self-employed Singapore Citizens/Permanent Residents, or by Singapore-registered companies whose employees are Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents or Work Pass Holders.

For employer whose employee is issued with a QO, you can only apply for the QOA after your employee has completed the quarantine and application must be sent to MOH within 90 days.
