How to check my bankruptcy or discharge status?
Discharge from bankruptcy
A discharge means being released from bankruptcy. The bankrupt will no longer be liable for debts owed in bankruptcy, except for certain types of debts such as debts owed to government.
Certificate of Discharge
Bankrupts who were discharged from bankruptcy by the Official Assignee will receive their Certificate of Discharge at their registered address via post.
Letter of Discharge
Bankrupts may request for a letter of discharge from the Insolvency Office if their bankruptcy was discharged by a court order of the High Court. Please submit your request through the online enquiry form at https://go.gov.sg/contactminlaw. A copy of the letter will be sent to you via email.
Insolvency Search
Bankrupts may also conduct a paid search using the Insolvency Search Service at https://go.gov.sg/bankruptcy on our website. A fee of $6.00 is payable for each search.
