Applying for permission to travel outside Singapore as a Bankrupt

Bankrupts are required to submit and obtain permission from their trustee in bankruptcy before they are allowed to leave, remain or reside outside Singapore. This includes all trips, whether for work, personal reasons, or emergencies.

Submitting your travel application

Step 1: Login to the Insolvent Person's Portal at https://go.gov.sg/bankruptcy via Singpass Login.

Step 2: Fill in your travel details

• Travel dates

• Destination

• Reason for Travel

• Sponsor for the trip

Step 3: Upload supporting documents

E.g., employment letter, doctor's memo or death certificate

What happens after you submit
