Can I appeal a travel application?

Travel Application

Bankrupts are required to obtain their appointed trustee in bankruptcy's (this is the person assigned by the court to manage your bankruptcy case) prior consent before they are allowed to leave, remain or reside outside Singapore.

Rejection of Travel Application

Travel applications submitted by bankrupts may be declined due to insufficient documentation, including inadequate details about your employer and/or the party funding your trip.

Appealing the rejection

Bankrupts whose travel application have been rejected may submit an appeal to their appointed trustee in bankruptcy (this is the person assigned by the court to manage your bankruptcy case) via the contact details provided in the court documents.

Appeals must specifically address the grounds for initial rejection and include all additional supporting documentation required for reconsideration.
