What happens when the deceased has un-nominated CPF monies? How do I make an application to receive the monies?
Upon receiving notification of the death of the CPF member, the CPF Board typically requires 4 to 6 weeks to remit the un-nominated CPF monies to the Public Trustee for administration.
Once the Public Trustee has received the monies from the CPF Board, the Public Trustee will write to the person who has notified the CPF Board of the death and/or the deceased person's next-of-kin, to make an online application at https://go.gov.sg/pto select "Administration of CPF / Baby Bonus / Edusave / PSEA Monies") for the distribution of the deceased's un-nominated CPF monies. The online application can only be submitted after the Public Trustee has received the monies from the CPF Board.
