When can I be discharged from bankruptcy if it is my second bankruptcy?
A repeat bankrupt can be discharged from bankruptcy after 60 months if he/she has met the Target Contribution and if the creditors' objections to his/her discharge from bankruptcy does not exceed the statutory threshold (50% by number or 25% in value).
Furthermore, the administration of the bankrupt's affairs, e.g. realisation of assets for the benefit of his/her creditors and investigation into any bankruptcy offences that were committed, would have to be completed before the bankrupt can be discharged from bankruptcy.
