Why is MUP not auto-computed for NSmen whose employers are not based in Singapore?

MUP claims will not be automatically generated for NSmen who are employed by companies based overseas. As companies that are not locally registered do not have to contribute CPF, no CPF wage information will be available for MUP to be automatically generated.

Upon receiving the SAF100, you should inform your employer of your ORNS activity and arrange for unpaid time-off or leave. Your employer will need to submit a MUP claim for you via the following FormSG link (https://go.gov.sg/osemployment).
