How long does MINDEF takes to process an injury claim?

For injury claims filed within a year from the date of incident, MINDEF will typically take about 4 months to process the claim upon the receipt of the complete injury report and the required supporting documents.  For injury claims which are filed later (e.g. several years after the date of the incident), more time will be required to investigate into the claim.
