How can I obtain a prescribed medical aid that is not available through a government restructured hospital?
Please submit the below documents to MINDEF/SAF HR Shared Services Centre (HRSSC) at CompensationMgt@defence.gov.sg.
1. the prescription by your doctor/therapist;
2. a memo from your doctor/therapist that certifies the medical aid as required for the rehabilitation of your service injuries; and
3. the price of the medical aid from the supplier/vendor recommended by the hospital
HRSSC will submit your request for approval. The purchase should only be made after the approval.
Please contact HRSSC at CompensationMgt@defence.gov.sg if you require further assistance.
