Updated by MINDEF Hospitals are unable to charge the cost of your medical aids to your Service Injury Card as it only covers medical treatment charges incurred at government/restructured hospitals/polyclinics for your service injury. However, MINDEF will fully subsidise the cost of medical aids which are necessary for the treatment of your service injury. You may forward the original bills/invoices for these medical aids, together with the prescription from your Specialist certifying that the medical aid is required for the rehabilitation of your service injury, to MINDEF/SAF HR Shared Services Centre (HRSSC) for reimbursement. Please contact HRSSC at CompensationMgt@defence.gov.sg if you require further advice. Contact us
