What is a Temporary Physical Employment Standard (PES) status?
The Physical Employment Standards (PES) is assigned based on your medical condition and is one of the considerations to determine your vocation/ appointment during your National Service period. A PES grade can either be permanent or temporary. A temporary PES grade will have a stated duration after which the serviceman needs to be reviewed again at the Medical Centre and subsequently at Medical Board.
