All Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT)-eligible NSmen aged 35 years old and above are required to complete the SAF HSP every year before attempting Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) or NS FIT. You will not be allowed to take the Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) or NS FIT if you are 35 years old and above and have not completed your SAF HSP requirements for the year. The SAF HSP review will be initiated by your NS unit administrator when your Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) window (birthday window) is open. You will be issued with a medical examination certificate after completion of your HSP requirements which is valid from the date of issue to 30 days after your next birthday. For example, if you are 35 years old, the certificate will be valid until (and including the 30th day after your 36th birthday.
