Why am I asked to provide consent for MINDEF/MHA to draw my income data from IRAS?

Your consent is required before MINDEF/MHA can draw your Income Tax data from IRAS. You are encouraged to provide your consent for MINDEF/MHA to automatically generate your MUP if you are self-employed. If you choose not to provide consent, you will have to submit your claims and supporting documents on the eService indicating your past six months of income data. This will cause a delay in the payment of your MUP.
