You are given the option to indicate your consent for MINDEF to obtain your self-employment income data from IRAS, when acknowledging your e-SAF100/NS recall order or when booking/amending your IPPT session. MINDEF will only retrieve income data from IRAS upon your consent, to automatically compute your MUP.

You are encouraged to provide your consent and not opt out of the automated MUP arrangement. If you choose not to provide consent, MINDEF will not be able to automatically compute your MUP. You will have to manually submit your claims and supporting documents indicating your income data for the past six months, for MINDEF’s verification. This will cause a delay in the disbursal of your MUP.

If no consent is provided and no MUP claim is submitted before the start of your ORNS activity, you will be deemed as having no income and will receive the base NS Pay amount.
