What will the public be required to do to assist Police under the Public Order and Security (Special Powers) Act (POSSPA)?

Updated by MHA
Under the Public Order and Safety (Special Powers) Act (POSSPA), the Police may ask civilians, like volunteers from the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and private security officers, to assist in tasks such evacuation or manning cordon(s) away from the incident location. The Police will only rely on civilians who are able, and willing to assist.
