If my spouse solely owns our matrimonial home, will the property be included in my property count for Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty (ABSD) purposes when I purchase a residential property in my sole name?
As the property is in your spouse's sole name, it is not included in your property count for ABSD purposes. Accordingly, ABSD will not be payable on your purchase of a residential property in your sole name if you are a Singapore Citizen who does not own any other residential property.
