If my spouse and I dispose of our jointly owned residential property and subsequently purchase one residential property each under our respective names, will Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty (ABSD) be payable?
ABSD will not be payable on either property purchase, provided that both you and your spouse are Singapore Citizens and neither of you owns any other residential property at the time of purchase
