I am a Singapore Citizen who owns properties in overseas. If I purchase my first residential property in Singapore, is Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty (ABSD) payable?
Properties owned outside Singapore are not included in the property count for ABSD purposes. Accordingly, if you purchase your first residential property in Singapore, ABSD is not payable for Singapore Citizens.
