I am the sole owner of an HDB flat and wish to transfer full ownership of the flat to my mother, who is currently listed as an occupier of the flat. She is a Singapore Citizen and does not own any other residential property. Will Buyer's Stamp Duty (BSD) be payable on the transfer?
BSD is payable on the transfer of the HDB flat to your mother, computed based on the purchase price or market value of the property, whichever is higher.
