Is stamp duty payable if a child's share in the HDB flat is transferred to his/ her parents, who are the remaining co-owner(s) of the HDB flat?
Buyer's Stamp Duty (BSD) and Seller's Stamp Duty (SSD) is not payable on the transfer of the child's partial share to his/her parents under the Transfer of HDB Flats within Family Remission if all the remission conditions are met. Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty (ABSD) may be applicable based on the profile of the parents.
