If I, a Singapore Citizen, sell my HDB flat that is jointly owned with my husband, who is a Singapore Permanent Resident, and subsequently purchase a private residential property jointly with him, will Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty (ABSD) be payable?
ABSD will not be payable on the purchase under the ABSD Remission for a Married Couple, provided that neither you nor your spouse owns any other residential property at the time of the joint purchase of the private residential property.
