Is stamp duty payable on the inheritance of a property (residential or non-residential)?
Stamp duty is not payable for properties acquired by beneficiaries (whether an individual, entity or trust) by way of assent in accordance to the Deceased's Will, Intestate Succession Act or Muslim Law of Inheritance.
