Will Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty (ABSD) be payable if property owners inherit another residential property (HDB/Private)?
Stamp duty is not payable for properties acquired by way of assent to the beneficiaries in accordance to the Will, Intestate Succession Act or Muslim Law of Inheritance.
Hence, for property owners inheriting another residential property will not incur ABSD.
