What happens if I lose my passport which is tied to the valid Re-Entry Permit (REP)?
If you lose your passport in Singapore or overseas, you must report the loss of your passport to your Embassy/High Commission immediately and apply for a new passport. After you have obtained a new passport, you can use the 'transfer function' at the e-Service to transfer the remaining validity of your existing REP to the new passport. Upon successful transfer, you will be able to print your REP which will reflect your new passport details.
