Will my permanent residency be affected if I divorce the spouse who sponsored my Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) application?

Your permanent residency will not be automatically revoked because of a divorce.

If you are officially divorced, you need not renounce your permanent residency even if your ex-spouse renounces theirs.

Please submit your finalised divorce certificate, and care and control documents, if applicable, to ica_rep@ica.gov.sg for ICA’s records.

You can apply to renew your Re-Entry Permit (REP) within 3 months before it expires, and the application will be assessed on your own merits.
