Does my child need to be a Permanent Resident (PR) before applying for Singapore citizenship?
Your child may apply Singapore Citizenship without the need to be a Permanent Resident under your sponsorship if he/ she is unmarried and below 21 years old.
However, your child must be a PR before applying for Singapore Citizenship if he is applying under his/ her own merits.
