What happens to my personal data if I withdraw my application e.g. an application for Singapore Citizenship?
Upon withdrawal of application*, ICA will stop processing your personal data for the purpose of the application, including not disclosing your personal data to other relevant government agencies for further assessment of your application. However, as the right to data erasure does not apply under Singapore’s data protection law, please note that ICA is not required to delete your data from our systems. For other purposes authorised or mandated by law, we may still process your personal data for those purposes.
