Can birth registration be done by a proxy on behalf of the parents with a letter of authorisation?
Only parents are eligible to use LifeSG to register the birth of their newborn.
If the parents are unable to register the child’s birth on LifeSG please email ICA at ICA_Birth_RBD@ica.gov.sg for assistance.
