What should I do if I suspect the call claiming to be from ICA to be a scam?

If you have reason to believe that the call is a scam, you are advised to take the following precautions:

  • Ignore such calls and the caller’s instructions

  • Do not provide personal information such as your name, identification number, passport details, contact details, or banking and credit card details

  • Report to Police if you suspect any fraudulent act or wrongdoing.

ICA takes a serious view of such scam calls as it undermines public trust in ICA. Members of the public can seek scam-related advice by calling the anti-scam centre at 1800-722-6688 or go to scamshield.gov.sg.
