What should I do if I suspect the call claiming to be from ICA to be a scam?

If you have reason to believe that the call is a scam, you are advised to take the following precautions:
Ignore such calls and the caller’s instructions
Do not provide personal information such as your name, identification number, passport details, contact details, or banking and credit card details
Report to Police if you suspect any fraudulent act or wrongdoing.
ICA takes a serious view of such scam calls as it undermines public trust in ICA. Members of the public can seek scam-related advice by calling the anti-scam centre at 1800-722-6688 or go to scamshield.gov.sg.
