What is UIN? What is the difference between a UIN and FIN?
Unique Identification Number (UIN) is issued by Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) to Singapore citizens and Singapore permanent residents only.
Foreign Identification Number (FIN) is issued to foreigners with Long-Term immigration passes in Singapore (e.g. Student's Pass, Long-Term Visit Pass, Work Pass, Work Permit etc.) by the ICA or the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
