Will I be penalised if I do not renew my Student's Pass before expiry?

If you do not renew your Student's Pass and are not on any valid pass, you will have overstayed in Singapore. Overstaying is an immigration offence. If you overstay, you may be subjected to a composition fine or prosecution in court.
