The visit pass is not issued with your Student's Pass In-Principle Approval (IPA). The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officer will issue you with a visit pass if you are eligible for entry into Singapore. After you enter Singapore, you must complete formalities for your Student's Pass before the expiry of your visit pass in order to commence your studies in Singapore. Please ensure that you have a valid immigration pass throughout the whole duration of your stay in Singapore at all times.
