What does the water test (to opt out of toilet upgrading under HIP) entail?
The floor outlet of the toilet is blocked off temporarily with a water plug. The floor is flooded with water to about 10 mm deep for 4 hours. The underside of the floor slab and the base of the adjacent walls are then checked for signs of leakage.
