Why have I received an SMS from a school or an educational institution, but it is not from the gov.sg Sender ID?
Only Singapore Government agencies, ministries, statutory boards, and services are moving to the single gov.sg SMS Sender ID. Therefore, SMSes from polytechnics and ITEs will come from gov.sg as they are statutory boards.
Other educational institutions such as Autonomous Universities, primary and secondary schools, and junior colleges are not, and SMSes they send will not come from the gov.sg Sender ID.
