The application will be assessed by Singapore Customs based on the following details:

• Company's profile and reputation in rough diamond trade;

• Company's compliance records with Singapore Customs;

• Source country where the rough diamonds will be imported from;

• Destination country where the rough diamonds will be exported to;

• Type of rough diamond activities that are to be performed in Singapore;

• Company's internal control measures relating to handling of rough diamonds; and

• Volume and frequency of rough diamonds shipments.
