When will the Matched Retirement Savings Scheme (MRSS) be expanded to include Singaporeans with disabilities below age 55?
From 1 January 2026, the Matched Retirement Savings Scheme (MRSS) will be expanded to include verified persons with disabilities below age 55 who meet the other MRSS eligibility criteria such as Singapore Citizenship status, residing in Singapore, CPF balances, monthly income and Annual Value of their residential property.
Cash top-ups made in 2025 to the CPF Special Account of persons with disabilities under the age of 55 will not enjoy the matching grant but will continue to benefit from the stable interest rate.
