From 1 January 2026, Matched Retirement Savings Scheme (MRSS) will be expanded to include younger Singaporeans with disabilities to give them a greater boost for retirement by helping them to start building up their retirement savings earlier via cash top-ups to the CPF Special Account (SA).

 

Eligible persons with disabilities can receive a dollar-for-dollar matching grant of up to $2,000/year, with a lifetime limit of $20,000 from the Government on cash top-ups received in their CPF SA.

 

Singaporeans below age 55 will need to have their disability status verified with MSF* before 1 November of the current year to be considered for MRSS eligibility in the following year. Other MRSS eligibility criteria such as CPF balances, monthly income and Annual Value of their residential property will also apply.
