If an airline intends to carry Munitions of War (rifles and guns) not classified as Dangerous Goods and without any ammunition, which permit should the airline apply for?

The airline should apply for Munitions of War permit only. The Dangerous Goods permit is not applicable.

Note: Under the Arms and Explosives Act of the Singapore Police Force, an Arms and Explosives (A&E) licence is required for shippers or consignees who wish to export or import arms and ammunition from or into Singapore. For more information, please refer to the A&E licence page on the Singapore Police Force website.
