Do I need to apply for a Munitions of War permit if I intend to check-in my sporting weapon and ammunitions in my checked baggage for my flight to or from Singapore?

Updated by CAAS

If you wish to carry weapons and ammunitions to or from Singapore in checked baggage, you should seek authorisation from the Police Licensing and Regulatory Department of the Singapore Police Force. You may refer to the Singapore Police Force website for more information.

You should also notify your airline at the time of ticket purchase or prior to arrival at the airport of your intention to carry weapons or ammunitions in your checked baggage.
