ActiveSG sports facilities are used for different purposes, and will at times be unavailable for booking and balloting. This includes Dual Use Scheme (DUS) facilities offered by schools. 

Facilities are used to meet recreational needs of the public, and training and competition needs across many sports at the youth, school, community, and professional levels. 

For example, facilities could be set aside for use by National Sports Associations (NSAs), schools for events, and ActiveSG’s Academies and Clubs for various programmes.
