No action from you is required now. Your existing AVS veterinary licence (‘Licence to Treat Animals and Birds’) remains valid until it expires , and all current licensing conditions continue to apply.

The new registration framework under the Veterinary Practice Act will commence at a later stage. We will provide more information on what existing AVS-licensed veterinarians need to do before the new registration framework begins.
