No. The SVC is not yet accepting applications for registration. Your existing AVS veterinary licence (‘Licence to Treat Animals and Birds’) remains valid (until the stipulated expiry date), and all current licensing conditions continue to apply. If your AVS veterinary licence is due to expire, continue to renew it via GoBusiness.

Licensed veterinarians will still have to comply with the Code of Ethics, until further notice. Registration instructions will be published before applications open.
