Welcome, VCOs!

Updated by SPSVCO

The Volunteer Case Officer (VCO) Scheme is run by the Singapore Prison Service (SPS) Community Corrections Command. As a VCO, you will work with a Lead Case Manager (LCM) which refers to either a Rehabilitation Officer (RO) or Correctional Rehabilitation Specialist (CRS) to support supervisees undergoing community supervision.

Your journey as a VCO follows a roadmap that includes trainings (PIVOT and VCO Foundational Training), case assignment where you work closely with SPS staff to support supervisees in their rehabilitation journey, peer support sessions to connect with like-minded individuals and exchange knowledge, and a review stage where you can decide whether to continue based on your availability and interest. There will also be other training opportunities along the way.

welcome vco
